Chet Hanks appeared on Instagram this week to once again declare that it will be a 'white boy summer,' a term he coined back in 2021.
The 33-year-old social media figure — whose father is Tom Hanks — shared a post with his 547,000 followers on Monday in which he made the statement.
It comes amid Chet going viral for explaining the Drake and Kendrick Lamar rap beef to his famous father in a recent social media post.
Back when he first used the term, Chet was mercilessly mocked online, with one social media user quipping: 'Someone tell Chet Hanks that we're already several thousand years into a white boy summer.'
In his latest post Chet wore a crew neck white T-shirt and rectangular sunglasses with transparent frames and lenses with a subtle blue tint.

The star also wore a cuban link chain and diamond stud earrings as he sat inside a Lamborghini with black leather seats.
Chet wrote in the caption, 'I have consulted with the heavens, felt a westward breeze, and walked outside of a strip club and saw my shadow… this will be a #WBS #iHaveSpoken.'
Chet rocked a buzz cut in his selfie, and also sported a blonde beard.
It comes several years after the personality piggybacked off Megan Thee Stallion's Hot Girl Summer campaign.
At the time, he clarified that the name of his 'movement' is not racial in nature, and that he's not talking about 'Trump and Nascar type white.'
The phrase raised eyebrows despite his assertion that it is about 'good vibes.'
Hanks also defended his wardrobe staple — a ribbed white tank top, which some colloquially refer to as a 'wifebeater.'

The actor stated in 2021, 'Someone also asked me can we ban wifebeaters. If we're talking about actual people who beat their wives? Yes.
'If we're talking about the tank tops? Absolutely not. I don't know anything more White Boy Summer than a wifebeater.'
He also made clear that 'prejudice' is not 'white boy summer.'
'You know what's not white boy summer? Having any ill will or prejudice toward anybody from a different background, race, walk of life than you, you know?... That's not White Boy Summer, dude. That's the sh*t we gotta elevate and get rid of, straight up... Because the real vibes is having nothing but good vibes toward everybody,' he noted.
Days ago Chet used social media to share a humorous exchange with his iconic actor father.
Tom, 67, reached out to his son via iMessage to ask him to explain the rap beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

Chet happily obliged, breaking down the back-and-forth between the two rappers, which sent the internet into a frenzy earlier this month.
Chet responded: 'Yeah, so Drake and this other dude J Cole been saying they along with Kendrick are the ‘Big 3’ in Rap. Then Kendrick put out a song saying, ‘F*** the Big 3, it’s just big ME’ initiating the beef.
Chet, one of Tom's four children, added: 'Then Drake was like, ‘you got small feet cuz you’re like 5 foot 5 or whatever.’ And then Kendrick was like, you’re a dead beat dad and made fun of his Canadian accent.'
He passionately continued, 'But it didn’t even matter cuz then Kendrick dropped another West Coast banger where he really went in on labeling Drake a pedophile that was pretty much the sonic equivalent of when you took .me to your high school in Oakland and we walked in on the basketball game and everybody started going nuts.

'Like if you heard it you would just automatically know how to Crip walk with a stank face while clutching an Oscar in each hand with Marshawn Lynch, then dap him up and tell him ‘Town Bidness’ which solidified the win not only for Kendrick but the entire West Coast.'
The younger Hanks, who has rapped under the alias Chet Haze, continued: 'It was pretty much the sonic equivalent of when you took me to your high school in Oakland and we walked in on the basketball game and everybody started going nuts.

Tom responded, 'Holy cow! Those are fighting words! People taking sides?? Who's winning???' with Chet hilariously retorting, 'Did you not just read what I said?' followed by three crying laughing emoji.
