She's a groundbreaking artist, actress, trailblazer, and now a noun in the dictionary.
Beyonce has been added to an updated version of a French dictionary, reports The Sunday Times.
The musician, who recently released her eighth studio album Country Carter, has been listed as a noun in a 2024 version of Petit Larousse Illustré.
She has been defined as an 'American singer of R&B and pop' and is among a group of celebrities entered into the latest edition of the publication.
The Crazy In Love singer, 42, joins a group of 40 personalities, both French and foreign, who have been included in this year's encyclopedic dictionary.

New additions to the publication are determined by a jury of experts, who every year come up with a list of 150 words and people to be endorsed by the dictionary.
The submissions must be well-known by French speakers and should align with the 'values of the Petit Larousse — excellence and promotion of French culture.'
Beyonce has a connection to the culture in her family - both of her grandparents on her mothers side were Louisiana Creoles who spoke French, according to The Times.
The addition of her name comes 20 years after another term connected to the songstress was added to the Oxford English dictionary - Bootylicious.
Beyonce's former band Destiny's Child dropped the iconic track of the same name back in 2002, and it subsequently was added to the publication.
It's defined as 'sexually attractive.'
The dictionary news comes amid a particularly busy season for Beyonce.
She dropped her wildly successful eighth studio album, Country Carter, just over a month ago.
The musician, lovingly nicknamed 'Queen Bey' by fans, has been listed as a noun in a 2024 version of Petit Larousse Illustré
The album made her the first Black woman to have a number one country album.
The album included a cover of the Dolly Parton track Jolene - which was given the thumbs up by the country icon.
'Wow, I just heard Jolene,' Dolly Parton 78, wrote on social media after the album was released.

'Beyonce is giving that girl some trouble and she deserves it! Love Dolly P' the songwriter penned after hearing the lyric modifications to the country standard.
The Destiny's Child alum will also be back on big screens later this year when her animated film, Mufasa: The Lion King, is released.
She has lent her voice once again to the role of Nala.
